DESCRIPTION

Enhance safety in hazardous work environments and increase productivity with Cat® Command technologies. Command remote solutions include onboard electronic and vision systems that allow machines to be controlled without anyone in the cab.

Ensure a Safe Job Site

  • Remove operators from hazardous jobsite conditions by controlling machines from a safe distance.
  • Eliminate operator safety risks from potentially dangerous situations including - wall collapses, falling debris, steep slopes, and unstable surfaces.

  • Control the machine with the same response time as sitting in the cab.
  • Select and activate machine features from the Command Station as though the operator was in the machine.

Cat Command Console

  • Available for select Cat dozers, excavators, and wheel loaders.
  • Allows the user to work safely and comfortably outside the machine, while remaining onsite and in direct visual contact by line of sight.
  • Provides line-of-sight operation from up to 400 meters (437 yds.) away.
  • Operator inputs are sent directly to the machine electronics via a dedicated radio transmitter/receiver, resulting in real-time implement control.
  • Does not require any on-site communications infrastructure.
  • Uses either a 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz frequency communications protocol.
  • The machine will shut down if the controller is tipped more than 45 degrees, indicating that the operator has fallen.
NOTE: Command Console is unavailable in Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.

  • Can be located in a command center onsite or many miles away.

  • Operators can easily switch between machines, or change jobsites with no downtime.
  • Enables trainers to stand beside an operator, without noise or movement.
