395 Hydraulic Excavator

DESCRIPTION

The Cat® 395 Excavator is a 95-tonne large excavator that brings faster cycle times, greater groundbreaking power and longer service intervals to your jobsite. The 395 excavator has 10% more swing torque and stick force, two times more structural durability and 20% lower maintenance costs than the 395F.The Cat 395 gets every job done every time. A 10% higher digging force eases bucket penetration to reduce digging cycle time in the most demanding applications. With up to a 15% higher payload and the ability to carry the SD6.5m3 bucket, this mass excavator can load a 70-ton off-road truck in 5-6 passes. For deep trenching work, the 395 digs down deep with maximum digging depths from 7190mm (23’7” ft) up to 11 710 (38’5” ft). The 395 is built for extreme durability with 2x reinforced booms, sticks, upper and lower frames. Reduced hydraulic oil capacity, improved filters with longer service intervals, and an integrated auto-lube-ready system save you up to 20% in maintenance costs. Equipped with the latest technology and data, the 395 helps you make informed and smart decisions to improve efficiency, increase productivity, and enhance safety.

The PL161 integrates easily into VisionLink® for full fleet management of machines and attachments from one smartphone or tablet dashboard to view location and tracking details.
  •
  • Save more time and energy with the available work tool recognition feature. A simple shake of the attached tool confirms its identity and ensures all the attachment settings (pressure, flow, and dimensions) are correct so you can work quickly and efficiently.

Sustainability

  • The Cat® C18 engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final, EU Stage V, Korea Stage V and Japan 2014 emission standards.
  •
  • Cat diesel engines are required to use ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel with 15 ppm of sulfur or less) or ULSD blended with the following lower-carbon intensity fuels** up to: 20% biodiesel FAME (fatty acid methyl ester)* or 100% renewable diesel, HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil) and GTL (gas-to-liquid) fuels. Refer to guidelines for successful application. Please consult your Cat dealer or “Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations” (SEBU6250) for details.
  •
  • Cat® Grade technologies combine advanced guidance with optional automated machine control, helping you reach grading targets while reducing fuel burn and greenhouse gas emissions by improving efficiency, job site productivity, and accuracy.
  •
  • Auto Engine Speed Control reduces unnecessary fuel burn and greenhouse gas emissions by allowing the engine to automatically go into idle mode when the machine is not working.
  •
  • Cat® Payload for excavators provides on-the-go material weighing, which helps reduce fuel burn by improving loading efficiency, job site productivity and eliminating trips to the scale.
  •
  • Cat® 2D E-fence keeps the front linkage within a predefined work area to avoid hazards such as traffic - not only helping keep personnel safe but also helping you avoid repairs, downtime, and costly job site fines.
  •
  • Extended maintenance intervals reduce downtime and decrease the amount of fluid and filters that are replaced over the machine's life.
  •
  • Cat® VisionLink displays the CO2 emissions for monitored assets, calculated by fuel type for the Runtime Fuel Burned each day in a selected date range.
  •
  • Remote Flash minimizes downtime and maintenance time while keeping your asset running at maximum efficiency. Alerts for machine updates are sent virtually from your Cat® dealer, and updates can be deployed without a dealer technician needing to be onsite.
  •
  • Remote Troubleshoot decreases maintenance time and keeps your machine running with maximum efficiency by allowing your Cat® dealer to virtually test the machine while working. Once a problem is identified, a technician can fix it the first time, saving time and money.

*Engines with no aftertreatment devices can use higher blends, up to 100% biodiesel (for use of blends higher than 20% biodiesel, consult your Cat dealer).
**Tailpipe greenhouse gas emissions from lower-carbon intensity fuels are essentially the same as traditional fuels.

Please consult your Cat dealer or “Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations” (SEBU6250) for details. * Engines with no aftertreatment devices can use higher blends, up to 100% biodiesel (for use of blends higher than 20% biodiesel, consult your Cat dealer).** Tailpipe greenhouse gas emissions from lower-carbon intensity fuels are essentially the same as traditional fuels.
