How It Works
The Seat Belt Reminder System monitors seat belt status by utilizing three key features:
- Seat Belt Alert - provides immediate visual and audible in‑cab warnings if an operator attempts to operate without fastening the seat belt, prompting action before unsafe operation begins.
- Seat Belt Misuse - identifies situations where the belt is latched but not properly secured over a seated operator (for example, buckled behind the seat). When misuse is detected, audible and visual alerts activate in the cab.
- Seat Belt Inhibit - can prevent the machine from traveling if the seat belt is not fastened, and is intended to intervene before unsafe operation occurs.*

Optional Jobsite Visibility
The Seat Belt Reminder System also supports:
- An optional external beacon provides a visual indication of seat belt use on the jobsite.
- Safety event recording for off‑board visibility through VisionLink™, allowing managers to understand seat belt usage trends and reinforce safe behavior.*
